29. Wichita State Shockers (30-27)
In the late 80's and early 90's the Shockers were unquestionably one of the premier teams in all college baseball with five straight CWS appearances and the 1989 National Championship. While they haven't been back to the Series since 1996, they've consistently fielded quality teams capable of making the trip. With a trio of young pitching studs in Tim Kelly (5-4, 2.86), Jordan Cooper (8-6, 2.78) and Charlie Lowell (6-2, 2.95), WSU is back on the path to Omaha . The offense is suspect headed into the season, but if Clinton McKeever (.333, 6, 43) and redshirt freshman Johnny Coy, a former Arizona State signee and seventh round draft pick, can generate just a few runs, the pitching staff will take care of the rest.
