28. Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles (40-26)
Despite just squeaking into the NCAAs, the Eagles were able to ride a wave of late season success to their first College World Series appearance. They'll have a new coach this season and will be without USM great Brian Dozier, but they're now equipped with experience and an insatiable drive to return to Omaha. Staff ace Todd McInnis (9-4, 3.73) and closer Collin Cargill (4-3, 3.55, 13 SVs) will be back to lead the pitching staff which will make or break the team's 2010 success. Offensively sophomore Kameron Brutny (.336, 7, 53) and will rejoined by seniors Joey Archer (.306, 10, 62) and Taylor Walker (.305, 3, 29) to spur the offense. (
