30. Minnesota Golden Gophers (40-19)
Despite the loss of the loss of two of their biggest run producers, Minnesota stands to once again compete with Ohio State for the Big 10 crown and national recognition in 2010. AJ Petersen (.353, 2, 45), Michael Kvasnicka (.341, 10, 65) and Justin Grominsky (.338, 3, 25) give Minnesota a thick top of the lineup that will give opposing pitchers fits. The later two, as well as Nick O'Shea (.287, 11, 44) could boast the teams' run scoring ability significantly if they can lower their dastardly strikeout to walk ratio (132 to 41). Starter Seth Rosin (7-1, 4.21) impressed in the Cape over the summer and is regarded as one of the top draft prospects in the nation. He will be reteamed with Scott Matyas (2.22, 15 SVs, .202 OBA) who gives the Gophers stability in the bullpen. (prev - start)
