21. Miami Hurricanes (38-22)
Miami could have the best weekend staff in the nation if their top three starting pitchers live up to their capability. Chris Hernandez (7-5, 4.76) posted respectable numbers last season, but they were just a shadow of his All American freshman numbers from the year before. Eric Erickson also excelled in 2008 (10-4, 2.50), but missed all of last season due to Tommy John surgery. Iden Nazario (6-5, 7.26) struck out a batter an inning, but nearly gave up an earned run per inning as well. A reconstructed Taylor Wulf (2-0, 3.24) has the task of filling Kyle Bellamy's closer role. Offensively five starters return, led by catcher Yasmani Grandal (.299, 16, 45), who spent the summer playing for Team USA and is sure to be a fixture on many preseason All-American lists. (
