For the second week in a row the top five remain virtually unchanged. Florida State and Rice swapped the third and fourth spots, due to a impressive week by the Owls in which they went 5-0 against Texas State, Oklahoma State and Houston.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers battled A&M over the weekend and were able to earn a pair of come from behind wins over the Aggies to make a jump into the sixth position. The Huskers aren't the only cold weather team climbing up the rankings as the Michigan Wolverines and St. John's Red Storm also are continuing to impress.

Two teams from the Bayou enter the rankings for the first time this season as Tulane swept East Carolina and LSU swept Mississippi State. The Bayou Bengals haven't lost since April 19th, and have won their last twelve games in a row against teams such as Tulane, South Carolina and Kentucky.

With their losses, the ECU Pirates fall from the rankings, but can rejoin the end of the season poll if someone else stumbles and they are able to beat UNC Wilmington on Tuesday and swept Memphis. Alternatively, if the Seahawks should prevail in that game and impress over Old Dominion, look for them to enter the rankings for the first time.
