Hello everyone, this is my first blog so bear with me! The spring semester is finally here and it is time for the season to finally kick off.  Before I get started I would like to thank Ping and Norfolk State University for extending me the opportunity to have a blog at pingbaseball.com. Since the return to school, we have been practicing and working out in the weight room and it is good to be around the guys again. We are a pretty young team this year, but we are deeper than we have ever been. With lots of good hitters and many young, fresh pitchers, we hope to do big things and bring home a MEAC championship. Everyone has come back full of excitement about our upcoming games. Hopefully, that can last throughout the entire season.

I am an exercise science major looking to become a personal trainer and coach if baseball does not work out. The transition back to school work after the holiday break has been a pain as always, but so far all my classes are going smoothly. But I know that now the semester is going to start flying by, the end of January has come and our first game on the 19th of February is quickly approaching.
